Im 6'2" and only weigh 170 lbs. I have been working out for a short amount of time, and for some reason my chest developed very quickly and i think it kinda over powers my other parts of my body. since im pretty lean all over, how can i get my chest to a more ripped look, not so bulky or large? More reps lower weght? here is a pic.

i dont know what is up with the mirror, but in person it looks perfect. anyways u can kinda see what im talking about, that my arms are really skinny and my chest is kinda not proportional.

My older routine was 1 body part per day. say Monday Bi's, Tues Tri's, maybe take a day of rest then hit the next body part. Since im attending school right now and working, it is hard for me to get to the gym everyday, so i do 2 body parts per workout 3 times a week. Chest/back, shoulders/legs, tri/bi. Since im a skinny as shit, i know i have to focus on heavy weight and about 8-10 reps per set. On my off days i do a little cardio not much, maybe run a couple miles.

sorry to break it to you dude, but no part of you is over-developed apart from your imagination.

Keep training hard and pursue strength and health. Not a 'ripped' look.

thanks. i just dont want to have one body part develop alot more than the other body parts, so i look stupid. i see some kids go to my gym and they are very big, but they never work their legs out and sometimes they wear shorts and i laugh. even though im a skinny shit, im still trying to get bigger, but in a proportional manner.

thanks alot for the advice, it is very challenging sometimes because results seem slow, but at least they are results.

You should worry more about increasing the muscles that are lagging, instead of trying to shrink the ones that are growing.

But seriously - Your perception is off if you think that your chest is too big for the rest of your body. It's not. Your arms and shoulders are pretty small though. Even just in relation to your ribcage/body trunk size.

I'd really dig into the arm/shoulder work for a while, and see what happens.

don't worry about the little shit...

seriously, if you want to be more proportional or whatever, try growing the other parts instead of shrinking your chest
