decline bp

    Now every single article I've read, it seems they dont mention anything about decline bench press. Is decline not necessary?

    Decline only activates something like 5% more fibers in your chest than flat, just stick to flat.

    Gotta agree with Steve.. Plus decline targets the lower chest, correct?

    It targets all over, some studys say its as good as flat or better, but then people will always argue that and say get your incline string also.
    I love decline because I can put up so much more than flat.

    I usually alternate.. I'll do 4 weeks incline, 4 weeks flat, 4 weeks decline. I should probably alternate a little more frequently, but it does work.

    that argument is the equivalent of saying pin pulls is a good lift because you can do massive amounts of weight

    yeah, you definetely dont wanna do exercises where you handle more weight

    I pretty much do the same thing. Only difference is, I alternate everytime I train my pecs.

    Yeah, I think I need to change it to every time as well. Keep it switched up.

    if you are looking to get accustomed to more weight on flat bench, there are better options
