So I can't decide between these two. Please do not include other suggestions since I already own other non stainless models.
I've handled both and each has lots of +'s. However I can't decide. :o

Have they fixed the GSR yet? I mean, aside from being a WAY overpriced 1911 with not that great a trigger. Have they fixed the reliability problems?

The new GSR is a lot better than the old one, but it's still not a real 1911. Apparently they are making all their own parts now instead of using whatever they can find at the bottom of peoples junk drawers. The profile of the slide is the biggest thing that turns me off about them. 1911's are supposed to have a thin rounded off slide, not one that looks like it came off a 226 or something and I won't own a "1911" with an external extractor.
