WEB decipher these webstats for me

    whast the difference between hits/pages/visits/sites/files

    Oh, i finally moved to fast servers on the 21st, thats why theres no hits before the 21st:x:

    If I recall correctly, hits are how many files are requested, files are how many are accessed, pages are how many times people saw a page, visits are how many people came to the site, and I'm not sure about the Sites stat.

    You only really need to pay attention to Pages and Visits if you're analyzing the traffic. If you're analyzing bandwidth and site efficiency, you'll be looking at hits, files, and the different ratios that exist, like how many files/page, etc.

    I'd recommend you sign up for Google Analytics. It's quite the gem.

    Yeah, get analytics or install awstats on your server. Webalizer is a big failboat, IMO.

    ive been getting 2000+ visits since that last screen, with one over 3k :eek3:
    is that good for a site that started 2 months ago:dunno:
