I'd stay away from those package deal Ebay sales, and from that 55-200mm lens.

This guy is a camera shop in Indiana...I did some research on him. I want to stay in the range of C. 800 bucks for a camera right now. The local camera store wants 699 w/ the kit lens and 259 for that 55-200mm lens... :dunno: I am watching a few D70's that are used as well. :hs:

I originally wanted the D50, until I found that the D70's kit lens was much better, and a used D70 can be had for around the same price as a new D50. So now I'm trying to decide between the D70 and the Rebel XT.

I have been watching a Rebel XT, D50, D70 and 20D and hopefully one will be purchased this week. :eek3:

I kinda like the idea of a new camera with a zoom lens, right out of the bag , but it depends on the $$ I can spend right now. :hs:
