    What's your budget?

the 5d MK II is great and its a decent price for what you get, but something tells me you don't want to spend $2500 on a camera...

    I'd get a Nikon D60 or a Canon 450D.

Wait on that! Get the Canon T1i instead of the 450D... much better camera, same build quality, with a similar price point.

I don't know anything about that camera. I just saw the name in some previous thread. Good option to the 50D?

Filming in Full HD 1080p sounds rad and all but I doubt I would ever use it.

Get a 50D instead, or 40D for better ISO performance.

I bought an XSi and I'm wishing I saved up for the mid range cameras (40/50D).. It's not a bad camera, but I can totally understand the benefits of the better bodies now..

I went from the 350D to the 50D... considering how often i go into low light situations, i'm thinking i should have gone for the cheaper 40D, but regardless, i'm loving the move from the entry level, to the midrange bodies.

the 60 has a couple of "minimal" upgrades over the 40, but to be honest it's still an introductory level DSLR.

    IMO...nope

nothing in it was operationally different, or made for better noise handling, easier operations etc...it was effectively the same camera.

now...the 90 is an entirely different story...
