Cliffs: Super tells me to go lower or not do the lift. I hate my gym. /rant I missed a clean that I usually make so the bar dropped to the floor, and right away one of the employees there comes to say something to me, I guess because the supervisor was there working out (I have dropped weights before and never had a problem). So the super--who happens to have a front tooth missing, I am in Kentucky, and do not know if the two are related --tells me that I should set the weight down next time, and I open my mouth to start arguing with him, he senses this, and goes "Sit down and let's talk about it" Anyway we get into this ten minute argument about how I should set the weight down, and I tell him that I cannot help it sometimes because it is close to my max. He doesn't want to hear this shit. Finally I get frustrated and start going off about every little thing that annoys me in the gym, and he just changes the subject back to me dropping weights and tells me that I should either go to a lower weight or not do the exercise at all. How am I supposed to fucking get stronger if I cannot attempt as much as I want to for fear of making a noise? (Both the plates and floor are rubber, by the way).
