Anyone else a angry dieter ? I feel like everyone (Wife) should cater to me while dieting.

Seriously, I want to choke someone atleast 13 times a day.

How do you guys deal with it ?

Not so much dieting... but from a few weeks out from a meet I'm not a fun person to be around. Everyone pretty much knows to stay out of my way by this point.

I've found its insanely important for me to eat a ton of fruit especially on a day when I'm going to be working out in the field/not eating regular meal times.

If you have a history of diabetes in your family, or, even if you don't, its possible you are creating a blood sugar imbalance with your new diet.

Most people eat "badly" by enjoying sodas, candies, etc. So to drop all that sugar suddenly can cause some pretty bad mood problems. Try to eat a lot of fruit, besides that, stress ball?

I am grumpy as shit when I start dieting down. My girlfriend laughs about me cutting down to fight. She says that I am "not fun to be around" during that period.

When I lived at home I would just get mad if people left stuff laying around. Like half a pizza on the stove or an oatmeal creame pie on the kitchen table. I didn't expect everyone to eat what I did but I'd get pissed if it was left out!!

You could strangle your wife with an alarm clock and then put your son in a choke hold. :dunno:

Exactly.......... but I'm a little more extreme. For instance, Wife and I were sitting on the couch last night watching TV. She's drinking a glass of water then decided to start chomping on ice (She knows I cannot stand the sound of chewing/chomping). I don't say a word but pick up the remote, chunk it at her glass of water and storm out of the house. I dunno, I just flip out.

I wouldn't touch my wife. If I beat anything, it's her chihuahua. That's what will make her cry.

Anyhow, I feel it's best for me to distance myself from anyone and everyone. You stay in one room and I stay in the other.

I'm actually a lot nicer while dieting.

It's when I eat like shit that I feel grumpy.

Just try to remember that you're doing this for yourself. I tell people that are dieting for BB shows all of the time, if you're not enjoying the trip then maybe you shouldn't be doing the show. I know that dieting isn't fun but don't let it cause any strife between you and other people during it. It's just not worth it. Just take a deep breathe and try to relax a little.
