Pros: It is a replica of an ACOG scope and looks the part from a distance.
Can be used as a movie prop.
It is slightly cheaper compared to other replicas.
I might have received a lemon.

    Cons: Many.
Finishing was terrible. Poorly pressed and joined piece of rubbish.
Holding it in my hand, it felt weighty and sturdy. When I attempted to adjust the crosshairs and illumination however, I found the knobs very flimsy.
Adjustment was difficult and awkward. Replacing the battery was also difficult. Now all this I could live with if the scope was clear, which it was not.
Poor light transmission darkened the image significantly and gave it a distorted hue. Image also appeared slightly blurred.
Illumination was weak and red dot could be seen only in dim light, making it barely usable. Turning the dial to max illumination and changing the battery had no visible effect.

Other Thoughts: This is the sort of scope that gives a bad name to all other Chinese made scopes.
First time buyers will complain about 'asian junk' and avoid the others, which is a pity because there are a lot of good quality china made scopes out there providing excellent value for money.

Bottomline: If you want it for home decoration, go ahead.
If you intend to use it on a firearm or airsoft replica, don't buy it. Trust me.

:dunno: I didn't write that its from the review section on that fakecog page.

I do have a hakko fakepoint that I've been rather surprised by how well its held up.

What are ya shooting it on?

I've seen all these replica reddots and stuff but always assumed they were designed more for airsoft than real guns. Never seen a legitimate website or user review of these things.

omg! one bad review!! its the end of the world and the product is crap b/c someone might have gotten a lemon :noes:

heres the other one that you failed to post

Pros: There have been 2 versions since the plain red dot came out.
    1. Cross Hair Design in Green color display
    2. Case is well built
    3. Comes with spare Batteies (LR44 x2)

Cons: 1. Front sight post is loose fitting.

Other Thoughts: I carry these for my Airsoft retail store and they have become better then the first run. The second run scopes actually came in red and green with the crosshair display. The new display is more useful and bright. The newest ones I received are green only, but still well made and useful. We have a 14000 sq. ft. CQC field here and the green works well indoor, a bit hard to see outdoor.

Bottomline: Overall good product. New display is bright and useable. Would liek to see Mystery go back to the red and green display.

1 negative and 1 positive review, positive is about it on an airsoft. I'd want to see a decent review about it on a real gun before throwing away $40 on it.
I understand not wanting to spend $800+ on a real acog, but when you buy super cheap you usually get what you pay for.
