Deadlifts off blocks

    The past multiple weeks I've been deadlifting off of blocks to help my off the floor strength because I've known thats my weakness... well this is just a heads up for anyone who has a similar weakness - DO THESE. They absolutely work :bowdown::bowdown:

    Can you elaborate on what this actually does? I've seen people do it, but I've never understood its benefits beyond normal deadlifts.

    This is exactly what I have been doing. I stack 2 plates to stand on, and pull from those. With the weights at my gym its around a 3-4'' block. My DL today absolutely flew off the floor. After pulling from a deficit, I can see its time to work my lockout as with a bit more lockout strength I think I can easily add another 30-50 pounds in a few weeks. Doing these is giving me deadlift gains unlike I have seen since I first started doing them :bowdown: :bowdown:
