doing a straightleg lift, should the knees be locked?
and why would you deadlift on the smith machine? That's really
i guess i could do DB, is that any better? I guess i could use the squat rack?
Why don't you just use a bar on the floor?
I thought there couldn't be a gayer way to deadlift than with a trap bar but apparently I have been proven wrong.
i've not seen anywhere in the gym where you could do that
My gym doesnt have a set spot for it either. So i just move a bench out of the way and do it near the dumbell rack. Sure , it pissess some people off, but fuck'em.
just do it in front of the squat rack
i know.. i usually stay around the DB area since most of my excersices i do with dumbells
your gym doesn't have a floor what do they put the benches and machines on?
db sldl/rdl's are awesome. max out on available weight quick though
Use the squat rack.
there was a guy doing deadlifts with the shrug machine at our gym
how would you do that exactly?
he held it like he was about to go shrug it then he went down in deadlift motion and went back up, it was very confusing
we have a Hammer Strength Deadlift machine, most people use it for shrugs though
did his shins hit the bar?
Just do it in front of the squat rack or else just take a bar from once of the benches and find an open spot.
that complete like half of the deadlifts range of motion, if that
i like it for a couple movements
