Just wondering. When training with dls, not prs. How do you guys grip it? Under-over, over, etc.

i mean like would there be a symmetry difference with your back if you use under over all the time. Or if it doesn't matter. Because someone commented on a diff in their lower back from left and right. So they switch up their grip every set.

one hand over one hand under
    alternate them

I am assuming "When training with dls, not prs." = "When doing reps with DLs and not trying for personal records."

i go overhand as long as i can and then i'll alternate mixed grip when i have to. Although, i feel more comfortable double-overhand, there's something about over/under i just don't like. i don't know if there's anything to this or not though :dunno:

probably because the under grip is what causes people to tear their biceps
