Deadlift PR w/ VID

    500 lbs @ 184, 20 yrs old. Raw.

    Not the prettiest deadlift, but I'm happy with it. Hopefully I can do better at my upcoming meet (WABDL, March 10th, Medford, OR.)

    yea total siezure LOL. i think a very small part of my mind was thinking "man, you look pretty ridiculous right now". but of course, a large part of my mind was thinking "shutup stand up straight you pansy".

    i think around 450. i'll get a better idea in a couple weeks when i train deads again.

    yea i showed the vid to some fellow powerlifters and they said the same thing. if all goes well it'll fly up come meet time.

    Dang QS your deadlift rocks! anyone know how much more he could do with a belt? I assume the belt could give more support during the 1st half of the lift so he could get some speed to lock out?

    :rofl: it wasnt that bad of form at all dude. his lower back stays neutral the whole lift, how many max effort DL's have you seen before? his lockout/glutes need work but thats about it.
