deadlift - plate heights

    is it just me or do the rubber plates put this bar too high off the ground before he pulls?

    it's almost a friggin rack pull.

    To me, maybe a an inch or 2 higher than normal plates.

    Anyone know what the regular height is using standard plates? My gym has retarded plates.

    Rack pulls are from just below or just over the knee, so far from that height.

    Standing on a board can usually compensate for any 'high' weights. But as for the height of those, looks about right. Nothing worth complaining over or not calling a dead lift.
