I dont know why but I continually am rounding my back too much on deads, even with lighter weight that Ive never had rounding problems with in the past.

I will try to take a vid this weekend when I dead but my ass shoots up way too quick and causes almost immediate rounding.

what can i work on to fix this?

Work with weight where your back doesn't round then go from there. Does it bend with just a bar?

Upper back rounding is fine, focus on arching the lower back hard.

Chances are you are driving way too hard with the legs and aren't driving your head back hard enough. This is causing you upper body to fall forward.

If you are deadlifting in front of a mirror, turn around and pull facing away from the mirror. Theres a good chance you are watching yourself and that is keeping your eyes down.

Wear a backwards baseball hat and try to drive the bill of the hat into your traps when you initiate the movement. Driving the head back is going to help keep your upper body upright.

All of this is useless without video, though.

You flexibility could also suck, too.

i really believe its flexibility. are there 1-2 mobility drills that really open up flexibility for deads?

when was the last time you deadlift'd with 225?

try to find magnificent mobility for learning about dynamic stretches for flexibility..
