These are from a meet in Chicago in March of 05. It was organized by Pavel Tsatsouline's website. There were two events: DL for max weight and bw pullups for max reps. There were no weight classes because obviously those two events kind of eliminate the need for weight classes.

The only thing I used was chalk.

    - 325lbs and I weighed 162 that day so it was 1 pound over double bw. It was a PR for me. I was happy.

    - Yes, I know behind the neck is bad. I was already spoken to about it. The judge was Ed Coan's chiropractor (who also competed) and he told me doing pullups to the back is bad, but he also said I was very flexible and young but I should cut it out soon. This was a PR for me, too.

Yeah I know. But I'm a weakling so I was happy with that PR.

You can deadlift more than that.

    Sorry, shitty mood.

I guess he wasn't bragging, my mistake.

The behind the neck pullups are impressive though.

Nice but that deadlift looked way too easy!

Then again its over a year old so I assume you pull more now.

Actually that was my second attempt at deadlifting.

I opened @ 300. My second attempt was 325 (that vid). I felt my back start to hurt so I passed on my third attempt. The 325 was very hard to get up and I don't think I would have gotten 330.

    Was my DL form ok?

I have a squat vid, too. It's only 315 @ 165lbs but squat has always been my most difficult lift. if I can find it I'll post a link.

    @ the pullups

But looking at that pullup vid made my cringe. Last time i did wide grip pullups.. my left shoulder was "popping" in 2 places while i was coming down from the pull. :wtc:

    You're lucky.

What do you DL now? I'm sure your form has changed hasn't it after a year?
