    Yo, I have a question regarding memory.

    Is the differences between PC2700, PC3200 and PC4000 that much more noticeable for the price difference, and is it worth the extra money to go to PC4000. What kind of differences would one notice?

    Same with DDR SDRAM, is it that much better than just DDR? Would it be better to go with say two sticks of DDR SDRAM 512MB than say Dual DDR 512MB's?

    PC2700 = 333MHz DDR SDRAM
    PC3200 = 400MHz DDR SDRAM

    It's all SDRAM, unless you're running an older P4. Best thing to do is use two matched sticks in dual-channel mode; you'll get better performance than from just one.

    I would go with the speed that matches your processor front side bus unless you are going to overclock or if you know you will be upgrading the processor soon and will be able to continue to use the RAM.
    PC3200 should be sufficient for most needs.
    No reason to go higher unless you are planning to overclock.
