By your logic, a Rolex is just a hunk of metal too. Shit, a Noveske, Krieger, or Lilja barrel is just a hunk of metal too, how can they charge so much!?

The Omega is strong, it's well machined, and it works. I had reservations about running this rail instead of a LITE rail (didn't want to remove my pinned suppressor mount) so I testing it by swinging my rifle like a bat by the stock and hit the rail against a tree. Nothing happened. Also tried destructive testing with my Surefire G2/VTAC mount and was pleasantly surprised when it didn't break.

The Omega is a great rail if you're too lazy to go with a Larue/DD LITE rail.

not sure why, but the imagined sight of you swinging an AR by the stock into a tree like a bat made me

So if you used a $80 rail as an axe on a tree the metal would break? Someone better tell our soldiers that their stock hand guards are going break on them unless they spend $300 to replace them. This assumes of course there isn't a sale going on.

I'm not saying it isn't a quality piece of equipment but you can't deny they are price gouging to the extreme.

ps. why are we using our ARs as an axe?

Get what? That you people in WMD are high school girls? I don't see this kind of crying in The Cage sub forum. Why is everyone so pussyhurt around here all the time?

  12. Because we have to deal with people like you and we have a totally worthless moderator who has no interest in getting rid of trolls.

You obviously have nothing positive to contribute to this subforum, why are you here? My observation is you're here solely to poke the regulars.
