Would you do it, or would it weird you out?
what the fuck
this is weird how?
Haha. That's what I'd be doing if I found a guy with my Dad's name to date .
lol.... maybe slightly if it was my mom's name.
but i am from italy and have yet to meet any one w. my mom's name here.
I was thinking about this the other day actually. I don't think I could do it. I've never been in a position to have to really weigh the pros and cons, but the thought of dating someone with the same name as my mother is pretty much a deal breaker.
I am just asking if it is, I've heard people say that they wont date someone with their mom/sister or dad/brother's name. Awkward in sexual situations? I don't know.
i would def have to come up w. a nickname, or shortened version of her name, that my mom does not use..... ASAP!
dated my ex for a long time and she has the same name as my step sister
if it was my moms name that might be weird.
I typically try to avoid dating women like my mother. So having the same name is a huge turn off. Thankfully, I don't think I've ever known a woman with her name so it's not something I've ever had to deal with. I suppose if it was a more common name it might not be as big of a deal.
That sounds like some middle school shit
I've done a few times when I find out a girl has my mothers name
I would do it and have done it. I dated a guy for about a month that had the same name as my older brother. I didn't think it was that big of a deal.
doing it and its fucking wierd.. just gotta address them as 'you'
My name is Aaron and my ex was named Erin. Made things easy
That would be kinda cool, actually.
dated a girl with my aunts name. didnt really make a diff except sometimes my aunt sends me emails and i get all excited and then i find out it was my aunt and not my ex
Could never fuck up her name bro
Yeah. I don't see it being a problem.
Funny enough though I've never met anyone with the same names as my brothers, even though their names aren't that uncommon. Would be kinda funny to date someone with the same name
only if it was my dad's name would I do it
My brother and ex husband have the same name, but I called my brother by a nickname since he was little so that's the name I associate with him. The only problem we ran into was when the two of them were in the same room because they would both answer to the same name so I would use "honey" or "sweetie" for my ex.
My mom's name is Chris (Christina technically but she's always gone by Chris), I've dated two guys named Chris.
My brothers are Matt and Josh, both common... I've dated guys with both of those names.
Not weird, I don't see the big deal.
