I did a real good shoot last night for a magazine, right when I got home to transfer the images the drive appears as corrupted, if I put it back on the camera it shows as drive not formatted.

anyone have any experience recovering files? I tried and undeleted and it shows the directory structure but not the images, im pretty sure they are still there, but the tables indexing them probably dont exist.

    any suggestions?

you need a data recovery program and most work fairly well. search versiontracker.com for memory data recovery programs...it make take a little more advanced searching but there are a couple good free programs out there that will help. I think the one we use at work is called PC Inspector...decent for free. the ones you have to pay for are the most powerful and tend to recover almost anything.
