Everytime I try to install the iCal events widget into Dashboard it crashes. Is there any way to repair/reinstall Dashboard? I'm pretty sure it's not the widget because I've installed it before successfully so it has to be Dashboard.

just the backup of my home folder. i backed it up on an external. when i noticed that any new ical events widget i dled crashed, i went into my home folder backup (user/library/widgets) and installed my old version.

shitty. that worked for me. try clearing the dashboard cache. go to user/library/caches/dashboardclient and delete all the contents.

i doubt this will help, but it's worth a shot. try typing in the terminal 'killall Dock' note: case sensitivity. it will restart your dock, but also your dashboard. it's worth trying :hsughno:

I fixed it. I went to check the disk permissions and there was a line stating something about widgets, I repaired the disk permission and the problem was solved. I was almost going to reinstall the OS again :o God I love Apple. :bigthumb:
