We have this place near my home, and lots of photogs go there to do some flower shooting. I ran into a couple of guys from the UK, and they were shooting some flowers.

Here's my take on what I found in the gardens....Let me know what you think.

The beginning of the set had some OOF pictures, but near the end of the gallery you've got some great shots. Nice work, man.

 My wife and I were just there earlier this year when we went to visit my mom. It's a pretty nice place, but a lot of the flowers weren't in bloom yet while we where there....

I can see the oof comment on one of the pictures - the one with the bee. I'll take that one out of the gallery, my tired eyes thought it looked okay, but I see how it is crappy now. These were all shot with manual focus on my 35-70 f/2.8 macro. I stopped down to f/8 on most all of the shots, and I really tried to control the DOF. In the pics at 100% where I focused they are tack sharp, but even at f/8 the focus falls off pretty quickly. The images don't look soft to me, just where the focus falls off. :dunno:

f/8 isn't enough for really close-up macro. Stop down more.
