    From Dana

"What's happening now, is that with us going international now, and going after that talent, Tim [Sylvia] is finally in a position where a lot of those questions are going to be answered," White said. "A lot of people think that the mystique over in Japan, they're bigger, better, making more money. All of it's bull----. It's all a big myth and now we're in a place where we can prove it. Look at Nick Diaz… Diaz was cut by us because he lost so many times and he just beat Gomi who everyone thought was unstoppable and the best guy in that weight division. Not only did Nick Diaz beat him, but BJ Penn destroyed him."

Pretty interesting article, and apparently Randy Couture was at Pride 33. He states, "I was at the event and they took several shots at the UFC," Couture said. "I think if you have to tell everybody that you have the best fighters in the world, then you probably don't" and I am going to have to agree with him, the gap is closing very quickly.

Diaz would be a force at 155 in the UFC...maybe he will come back.

i think 155 would be too much...160 is almost perfect for him...gross said on beatdown radio that diaz barely made 160...and 1 hour after weigh ins he was at 175

Gomi is very exciting, but I never really thought he was top notch in terms of skill.

Yea, To tall for 155, I always thought he looked a bit small when fighting at 170. I didn't think 10lbs would make that much a differance.

I'm surprised Diaz even makes 160lb. He's very big for that division.

I'm not a huge Dana White fan, but he bets Jerry Millen hands down.

Then why don't you inform me.

It's just that some peopel talk about Gomi like he's that weight class's Fedor. Gomi can definitely throw em, but he's pretty one dimensional. There are plenty dudes who would dispose of him.
