    Canceled*

Not because of weather, but because one of the players DIED (people that know him are saying he OD'd on something).

I spend $65 to rent the 200 1.8 for the weekend (fri-monday morning). I rented it mostly to shoot infield stuff during 2 night baseball games. There's still one game tomorrow (but it's a day game now, so I don't REALLY need it for that, though I will still use it) as well as women's tennis on Saturday (Guess I'll get some nice shoulder up stuff).

But I have the thing for the rest of the evening and nothing to do with it now. LAAAAAAME.

I was busy as hell the day I had to process those images. I guess I have some free time now. I stated in the other thread I had fail pics of winning and win pics of fail. I was in a hurry so I went ahead and deleted the fail pics of winning (mostly out of focus) except for one.

Note* I was too lazy to crop these down again. Normally I do.

This is decent, but I always prefer it right before the ball hits the glove. I did not get that shot that day

Best catch of the game watch the series.

    Actually caught it....

Ownage of Georgia base runner imminent.

Could have been an awesome catch, but look at where the ball is

    Not yours

Standard "dizzy race" whatever thing they do at SB and BB games (I'm actually paid by another company to shoot these promotions (but not at this game))

It's all fun and games until one of the participants gets violently ill after spinning around probably due to dehydration.

These's one more pic, but the uploader I was using just quit responding.

Only 3 of the above pictures were submitted to the client. These are unprocessed resizes of .jpgs not cropped.

I don't really have a lens long enough to shoot outfield. None of my clients provide me with a 400 2.8.

I sold 3 photos to AP today relating to the dead baseball player.

EDIT: And god damnit, it's Saturday night. Posting 200 1.8 pics for OT is the last thing on my mind, especially after working all day. It's sharp as hell, thin DoF and no CA at all. Imagine pics like that and you have the 200 1.8

You dont have to defend your pictures. I wasnt saying anything bad. I was just curious if you did get paid to do this.

I dont want to imagine pictures. I want to see them!

I'll have some... eventually. All I'm shooting tomorrow is Women's Tennis. I have Monday off.

The previous times i rented the lens I only shot it indoors at ISO 1250 and above. Today was the first time actually shooting outdoors in decent light (ISO 100) I was surprised at the sharpness I could realise without the ISO grain.
