When I try to run it says it could not create the folder and the operation is canceled. There's even a field to change it but it cancels before I can change it.

I hate this shit, every so often I run across some software that for some reason can only install/self extract to a C:\ directory.

Is there any way around this?

Try rubbing some Cosmoline on your CPU and motherboard. That should clear that problem right up.

If that doesnt work, you could always dump some Tannerite in there and drop it off your desk. Last time I had a HD directory problem, that fixed it pretty well.

    I bought a H&K laptop the other day. Weighs 15 lbs, pentium 2 @ 266mhz, 10" monochrome display and only 5000$!

It would never fail in a true operator's hands.
