Just got back from college and hit the gym every other day for two weeks. Gotta lay off the alcohol for a bit, gains are

I don't know about stopped, but inherently no more college = less going out, for me at least. Plus, it's a lot easier to eat healthy and go to the gym without classes and having to find a car and shit.

It's gotta be in my head, but I swear to god I look better when I'm boozing once or twice a week. Just leaner and harder overall.

    That's probably because you're dehydrated.

Just look in the mirror the morning after a hard night drinking...

I only drink at special occasions nowadays and I feel better in everyway.

i stopped going out and drinking, ive gone out and drank enough for a lifetime in vegas, miami, etc. it got old and redundant getting fucked up, talking to people i could care less about, hooking up with dumb ass pussy, and then feeling like shit for the next week and suffering through workouts. now ill have 1-2 drinks on VERY special occasions at best. Id rather enjoy every day in the gym and really gain properly than enjoy 3-4 hours of belligerent dumb shenanigans that gets you nowhere in life.

Seriously, RIP me for sure in that regard, the last 2 years I slowly began realizing how dumb going out and going crazy, blowing money, "scening it up" was. I guess I just got older, I got sick of being "sick and tired" of wakin up hungover and feeling guilty compromising and delaying my gains when I knew how hard I worked all week in the gym and the kitchen, then just to go and throw that all out the window for a fun weekend, I dont know, when it became not that fun for me I stopped.

my last post is kind of a lie...

I do drink mainly on special occasions (and only a few beers/whiskeys/Guiness at most). But every once and a while, 8 weeks or so, I feel the need to go all out and get fucked up!

Apart from that, like PB, I feel as though I've outgrown hardcore (drink fuelled) clubbing and wasting a shit ton of money... especially on something that leaves me feeling like shit for a day or two.

I still go out clubbing regular, but I don't need to drink to let loose and have fun.

im 22, tried bunch of shit, drank way too much and i already came to what bateman is talking about. i feel so much better mentally and physically.

besides i get massive hangovers and get nothing accomplished the next day, let a lone getting in food.

If you could avoid the negatives and focus on the positives, I'm all ears and will fan the flames to your progression.
