Just wondering if anyone has a problem with corrupted data pics on their Canons with SanDisk Ultra II cards...

I shot 100 pics yesterday and 3 pics show up as corrupted.
    The rest are good.

The bitch of it is, it seems that each time this happens to me, the corrupted shots are the ones I was most enthused about!

    Any thoughts?

Search my posts.......I bought 2 Sandisk Ultra II cards and had this problem. I got my cards from Costco FWIW, and I also have a 30D. Not sure if its an incompatibility issue of the card/camera, or just bad cards from Costco. I returned mine after I picked up a dirt cheap PNY card, and had ZERO issues with it whatsoever.

Get rid of those POS cards! (well, POS for us 30D users anyways)

You were getting alot more corrupted data though, weren't you?

The irony is, this isn't a Costco card.
I have another card that I got from Costco that I haven't used yet.

this happens...recover the disk, throw the disk in the trash and get a new one. they're dirt cheap anymore ($43/2gb Sandisk Ultra II @ Costco).

All the shots from this thread http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=3224003

I ended up losing via a corrupted Transcend 4Gb, 30D in RAW.

Having 500 odd pics just dissapear was the worst feeling ever.

I had to pay $150AU to get them recovered via a data recovery company.

My advice, you get what you pay for.
