24x zoom seems like a lot. I like the stainless barrel, tho.

    Not my house.

My dad travels a lot for his job. This year he's in Paducah, KY., doing the electricl engineering work on a nuclear materials processing plant. Picked up a newly renovated farmhouse w/ 100+ acres for $650/month. He doesn't buy a whole lot of stuff since he'll only be there for about a year. Couch, TV, DVD player, Guns, and room to shoot them. That's all he really needs.

I need to pick up a long gun or 7 and head down there to test them out. Fucking central Ohio doesn't have anywhere good to shoot distance. :wtc:

    uh, nice Barska :ugh:

Let us know how it shoots. Oh, and he'll probably need a better cheek rest with rings that high.

That 22-250 isn't going to recoil enough to mess it up, I wouldn't think.

Not a fan of the scope, and I think you have concrete blocks for rings but I love the Savage. :bigok:

100 yards is the longest I have found in Southwest Ohio. :wtc: Maybe I just need to look harder for a longer range.
