I am detialing my car in the garage today and am hoping to get rid of the swirl marks on the car. I have already washed and clay bar'd and am now applying DACP by hand. I am using scottwax's method of folding a towel, applying it to the towel and working it into a small area with a fore and aft motion. I did this over one area yet the swirl marks still remain. I also tried following up with my vanilla moose hand glaze but the swirl marks are still there. Anything i am missing or can swirls get so bad that they cant be removed?

P.S. the car was bought last august so the paint is is in great shape besides the damn swirls.

DACP will remove light to moderate swirls but it isn't strong enough for really deep ones. You might want to try Meguiars #2 Fine Cut.
