when carrying on DA gun should you keep the hammer cocked or uncocked? ive been told when its uncocked there has been instances of someone bumping it and a round going off. which would actually be safer method for carry?

I'd say uncocked would be the safest way to go. Helps eliminate some of the potiental errors as few as there already is. I believe some PD only issue DAs to officers for that reason.

Yup, leaving it in DA is the way to go. Unless you have a 1911 or HK, or something else that allows C&L carry.
