A&P D70 went to nikon today

    and I'm already longing for it.. Strange how you dont use something for a while, then you try to use it one time and remember that it needs to be sent in for service. Then you do, and you do nothing but think about getting it back.

    I'm sure by the time i get it back I'll have lost all my motivation to go shoot...

    Stupid camera.



    Anyone know how long it takes to get the D70 recal done? How fast is nikon at handling things like this? I had the problem where my camera would lock up and not do a damn thing because of some shoddy soldering connection or somthing. It's free to service minus shipping, but now i have to do without a camera damn it...

    and tonight's a full moon.. :hs:

    I feel your pain...I sent in my d200 for some hot pixels last week, and now I'm going up to Santa Barbara on Friday (praying it comes home soon)

    In each picture. There was a small cross (one dead center pixel, then one on top/bottom/left/right) in each picture dead center, at ISO's below 800. I thought I could live with it, then figured I'd rather not clone it out of every picture I take. I paid 1,700 for the camera, I figured that I'd put the warranty into effect.

    If it's the GLOD, I'm seeing between 12-17 days.
