A&P d70 night photo cable release???

    do you need to buy a seperate cable release for the d 70 or is it built in ?

    You need to buy it. I do believe you can use the timer in place of it, but if you want a wire to fire off the camera, you have to pay up. :p

    D70 doesnt have a cable release option. You have to buy a wireless remote control for it.

    so withoout the cable you cant do night photography?????

    Just have it run off a timer. If you find you don't like doing that all the time and want a remote shutter release get it.

    Wow i just looked it up, the wireless remote is only like 20 bucks. I'm gunna buy one. Any other accessories that you guys know of besides the obvious (lenses, cases, memory cards etc) ?

    Sure you can, just use the timer and a tripod.

    a guy has made a cable release for the d70 but it is not like a regular cable release. it clamps to the camera and just pushes the button for you . it was souther engineered
