So my dad picked up a d300 for his trip to India and we've been playing with it since im at home for xmas.

Ill probably have some more questions as the days go on, but here is a stupid one.

Image review - is there anyway to have the full image appear with NO other information. Just the image? Right now the most clean version of the image has these left and right white view finder things and then a bunch of text on the bottom, very cluttered. I cant find a way to get rid of that.

While in image review, turn the front control dial. It will cycle through different displays.

Nevermind. I just re-read what you were saying. The cleanest is to go into your menu > Playback menu (top one) > Display Mode. Then uncheck the Focus Point. You will still have the data at the bottom though.

    Gotcha.

Im guessing thats because the aspect ratio of the screen vs. the picture? And thats the biggest you can get?
