CZ-52: fun to shoot or just obnoxious hand cannon?
Inquiring minds wish to know.
It's pretty fun to shoot and the ammo is pretty damn cheap right now. Penetration is supposed to be really high, so it's only good as a range gun. On average it'll shoot a 85 grain bullet at around 1600fps. Flat shooting too, I was almost as accurage at 100 yds as i was at 25
i LOVE my cz52
The answers are supposed to be "no, it is garbage"
AIM has STUPIDLY cheap ammo.
fine... DONT buy one.
leave all the ammo for me
If I could get one for say, $120, with one mag and 150 rounds of Sellier & Bellot, would that be good?
yeah... i remember reading about some issues with the S&B ammo a long time ago though... hard primers, i think. either way- go for it
also get a 16# wolff recoil spring and also get an uprgraded firing pin
surplusrifle.com has a break-down on how to do it all
That guys website is awesome.
The decocker thing makes me nervous.
What do you do if you need to cease firing and you're in battery?
(This may be a stupid question, I have never owned, and rarely handled, pistols).
I'd just drop the mag and eject the chambered round.
test it out by sticking a pencil down the barrel and hitting the decock.
if it fails that test, just drop the mag and eject the round
are you gonna go through with it?
