I ve been cutting (not drastically) for about 2-3 weeks now and it's goin really well. Total loss is about 8 pounds.

I ve just been reading the stickies and it says a 500 cal deficit per pay for a week should equal 1 pound lost but my numbers don'y really fit. I'm under 1800 cal a day after subtracting any cardio (4-5 times a week).

Is this a healthy loss or do i need some adjustment.

It's mostly waterweight so far. How healthy it is depends on your weight and body composition.

hmmm sounds a bit much to lose in just 2-3 weeks, but if it works it works, try not to make it a crash diet like most people do...don't skimp out on food, have healthier alternatives

thats the i haven't been skimping on food, i even go over some days.

Another problem: i started serious cardio about a month ago. til last week i was runnin 6 miles twice a week well under an hour and 4 miles once or twice more. then last week after a ONE bong hit -can barely make it under 20 mins for 2 miles!! wtf! It's been a week and i ve done the two miles everyday and my lungs aren't gettin any better. Whats goin on? theres no way it should hit me this bad considerin i used to be a smoker

well instead of going over, everything in moderation is key, eat healthier. as far as the bong hit...i didn't think 1 would make you dramatic changes, but maybe that's your body's way of reacting to it. try not smoking that stuff for a while and rebuild yourself to what you were at. I usually run about 4 miles a day. and am quite comfotable running that. take it slow and work back up to 6 miles, and don't take bong hits

yea that's weird that such a drastic change would happen with just one

8 pounds in the first 3 weeks is not too much for the start of a cut. It will level off. just cut the cals by a bit wait a couple weeks and cut them again.
