Cutting with supps vs. no supps.

    I've never had a problem with losing weight. On average I have been losing 2 lbs a week and thats with a clean diet and about 3000-3500 cals a day. I am trying not to lose any faster than that. I was wondering if I did a ecy stack or something, would it help target fat loss over muscle. Also, how bad is the appetite suppression, because I still need to eat a decent amount.

    So basically, should i keep cutting with my diet (which is extremely easy) or should i take a fat loss supp to help maintain muscle better.

    I somehow doubt you're losing 2lbs/week at 3000cals/day unless you JUST started cutting.

    Unless he weighs like 250+lbs I doubt he is either.

    if i ate that many calories id probably gain weight

    I can gain weight at 3500 calories and I'm 250, unpossible!!!!

    What I'm saying is it's fairly uncommon for a person to be in a 7000cal/week deficit at 3000 cals/day. I'd say it's far more likely this person is miscalculating something or even more likely they are still just losing waterweight.

    250lbs of fat :hsugh: And I think Pur even said he only uses 3500cal for bulking

    Check out my log, I swear that i lose on that many cals. If somebody can tell me how to take a screen shot i will show your my fit day log for an example of my diet.

    I started my cut at 221 and now i'm 206.

    Well how much are you losing per a week right now? Because Ive dropped 8lbs in one week before about 7lbs of water weight though

    Here is how it has been going.

    12/18- 221
    1/2- 216
    1/8- 216
    1/12-213
    1/20-211
    1/22-210
    1/26-208
    2/2-210
    2/8-207
    2/9-206

    15lbs lost/ 54 days= .2777 x 7 = 1.94 lbs a week.

    For me to bulk i was eating at least 5500 cals a day.

    yeah, pur also said that it's really easy for him to gain weight. Its not easy for me to gain weight at all.

    That is because Pur is an intelligent reasonable guy who understands that a 2000 calorie a day surplus ain't gonna let you add muscle any noticeable amount faster than 500cal a day surplus natural. Or at least with the amount of fat you add you'd be better off at +500 so you can bulk for a lot longer and cut less at the end. Too many people here get too carried away.

    Should add that there are exceptions... some real ecto motherfuckers. Black Jesus seems to eat like a powereater and has seen good success :bigthumb:

    Today i've already eaten 3690 cals and i'm not even full, all clean cals.

    I've dropped 5 since I started eating a bit less food and more fat/less carbs... love handles have gone down noticeably.

    i'm cutting right now with 2700-3000 cals a day only using whey isolate and an ECA stack on workout days. anything is possible as long as you are burning off the extra calories

    Do you run or do alot of cardio?:eek3:

    Anyway, its different for me because if I take ECA or anything... its usually only first thing in the morning before my workout. So a few hours later... the appetite supression isn't really too much of an issue for me. I pretty much cycle how much ephedrine I'd take... since I get mine in 8mg pills...8-16 is what I'll use most of the time.

    I walk for prob 20 - 40 min a day usually because i don't have a car right now so i dont do any cardio at all now. I've always been really fucking skinny and if i don't eat a lot i lose weight. Last year I did a low carb diet and i lost 15 lbs in about 12 days, so i know not to do that anymore.

    I know that my body metabolizes muscle glucose along with fat but I just wanted to see if taking ECY or somethign would help metabolize fat over muscle glucose.
