Hi there, i'm a college swimmer now in the offseason. I dont know how much you all know about swimmers but a lot of us can actually maintain some body fat and also put on muscle; this helps us to keep our muscles warm in the water, buoyancy, etc. Anyway, the point is that i am a fit person but i have just a bit of body fat i want to lose (10-15 lbs) and put some weight back on in the form of muscle. My RMR is in the ballpark of 2250 calories a day, so what i would like to know is since i'm cutting, should i only eat my RMR? I do 4x a week of circuit training(45 min) and 30 min. of cycling. Also, what would be the best way to divide up those calories into protein/carbs/fat? more protein than carbs? Any help here would be great.
