alright, time for a reassessment. I posted a while back about trying to cut down from 275 @ ~20%. I'm down to 265 right now and fairly leaner, but definitely nothing to brag about. I've noticed measurements going down in both my waist and my legs (both my trouble areas), but everything else is staying relatively the same. I've been at this since February, actually got really serious around early March.

I'm still eating anywhere from 2500-3000 calories a day. I'm not carb cycling anymore like I was doing. I've been mainly getting my carbs in early in the day and bumping the fats up later in the day, protein is staying ~50g throughout the day.

I'm doing cardio (20 minutes stair mill, 20-30 minutes treadmill - high incline) about 3x a week, weight training about 4x a week.

    Calories are coming from:
    Oatmeal
    Pasta
    Whole Grain Bread
    Spinach
    Chicken
    Tilapia
    Tuna
    93% Lean Ground Turkey
    Sunflower Seeds
    Walnuts
    Olive Oil
    Fish Oil

    Supplement wise:
    Green tea extract
    Caffeine
    Cayenne Fruit

Any suggestions? Changes I should make? I'm afraid to put the calories any lower. This has been 6 years of solid bulking, don't want to lose what I've gained

Edit: Waist is down to 40", started at a little over 43". Legs are at 29", started at 31". I have visible abs when I flex, but it's not strong definition by any means. Still holding a lot in the love handles

FYI, 275lb's @ 20% bf is more muscle than just about anybody on this forum has minus someone like Pur when he was heavier or whatever. If he does diet down he will look awesome.

So I don't see why the :hsd: ? You'd rather be in his shoes, trust me. Gaining muscle is a numerous year endeavor that is much harder for the body to do than losing fat.

Your food list is irrelevant if your calories aren't low enough.

All you can do is drop the calories I'd guess.

how low should someone really go? I was following one of those little BMR calculators to try to see where I'm at. It was telling me somewhere in the range of 2900 and I do a little bit more than sit on my ass all day :dunno:

Fuck, I hate cutting. It's great to just eat when I want and however much I want, that's why I just want to get this over.

:donno: nobody knows. Are you on gear? You can go much lower than if not.

I do quite a bit, that stair mill will shed off the calories. I'm not going to trust the calculator on there, but after 20 minutes on it, it's in the range of 350-400 calories, then another 20 minutes on the treadmill @ 14 degrees takes another 150 calories

He does 50 minutes 3x a week. I'd say that's pretty decent. It's easier to just drop calories at that point I'd think.

Up to 500 and eat nothing but protein and green stuff, LMAO. I donno dude, nobody can tell you. But if you aren't losing, and aren't "recomping" then I'd assume something has to give to lose more weight. Like less calories or more cardio or more weights.

It's "stupid" IMO but plenty BB'rs change their training from 3-4 days a week to 5-6 days a week during a diet and drastically increase their reps so that they can eat more food. It doesn't "cut you up" but it burns way more calories. If you are natural I would assume doing this would kill your muscle but if you're on a decent amount of gear I'd assume you'd be good to go.

you think I'd maintain most of it? I've actually gained some strength in some lifts, lost some in others. So I think muscle preservation wise, it's going pretty well, but incredibly too slow. 5 months now and hardly a change, it's never a good feeling.

If you are "endomorphic" you will hold LBM well. You should know if you lose muscle fast. I could eat nothing but cow shit for a month and I wouldn't lose much LBM. I don't lose fat easy at all though, so it's a catch 22.

 never been a big believer in the body type. I've always been naturally lean and skinny, obviously things have changed since I've started lifting. I really have no idea what I am. I might just up the dose and cut the calories, maybe 2000ish?

I did 0 cardio for my last show except a little uphill walking on the treadmill the last few weeks. Count your macros and adjust your diet, remember that fat is calorie dense, so even if it's good fats at the end of the day it's calories in vs. calories out.

my best is: either do the 2500 every day, or talk to pur, b/c with that much lean body mass you should be losing.

other suggestion, try cutting carbs to 75g or less, and do light cardio work.....but really i think, if i recall correctly, you have pur's advice on tap. so tap that advice.
