I've been trying the 10xbw for an idea of how many cals i should be eating to lose fat. 2000 ain't cutting it, i'm still maintaining body weight and sometimes going over a little. it usually fluxuates from 218-224 even though i'm in the gym lifting 2-3 times a week, as well as cardio 2-3 times a week. I eat clean 90% of the time not counting weekends where i'll cheat here and there (and drink ). the first thing you guys are gonna tell me is to stop drinking on the weekends. I know this, and its a pain in the ass because i go out and dj and whatnot and its really, really hard not to drink. When I do drink i typically have vodka tonics. So starting today i'm trying to bring my cals down to around 1500, stay on the 5x5 mon/wed/sat, and do HIIT during my lunch hour mon-fri with sunday off. This HAS to work for weight lost, my question is how "bad" is this for me, or would it be okay? I realize i'm not gonna see drastic strength gains, but for now i'm just looking to get down to 15%, thats my goal for this year.
