Cutting + Bulking

    is that possible? Would fellow members find it conflicting to go on a lean diet while incorporating cardio into the work out but at the same time taking supplements (ie: protein/creatine) to help bulk? Asked a few of my friends and most say to stick to just one and advised me to bulk first before trying to cut. Any suggestions and/or opinions?

    working on a cut right now.

    I use the whey to help with macros, and the creatine mix to throw a nice boost into lift days.

    but I'm not expecting to put on LBM while losing fat, if that's what you're getting at.

    Well considering 'cutting' is being in caloric deficit and 'bulking' is being in caloric surplus... .yes it is impossible to do both simultaneously because less !=more.

    However, is it possible to be on a really clean diet that is a caloric surplus to your daily needs and gain mass while losing a bit of bodyfat?? Yes... but it takes a lot of dedication, knowledge, committment. It's something noobs have an easier time achieving than a seasoned lifter...

    haha culking... i suppose so. so stick just either cutting or bulking? :dunno: what i'm actually getting at in terms of my goal is to gain muscle mass while trimming away the fat. i guess cutting/bulking is just a more general term i kinda threw out there.

    you can gain lbm while keeping low bf%, even dropping it while gaining lbm

    im more or less a begginer, and im only 22. but over the pass few months ive gained almost 10 lbs of weight and i feel bigger and stronger. However ive also gotten leaner then ever in my life, veins are really startin to pop too.

    so i feel like im gaining muscle and losing fat.

    I think all "bulking" has ever done is give the world an excuse to get fat (myself included). I don't need 10000cals a day with a couple jr whoppers thrown in to gain muscle. That whole notion is retarded.

    I've been curious about this lately as well. I mean true there's that whole bulking/cutting thing--debate, discussion, whatever...

    But my real question goes to the leaner broly's: What is the lowest BF% you've been able to maintain while still packing on muscle? I understand that for sure you're going to add some fat with muscle, but short of transforming into a fat fuck what's the best you've done, or you've seen done?
