I always have had a hard time gaining and maintaining my weight. I joined the gym and have progressed pretty good, im weighing in at 180 6'2". I am still to thin and want to gain some more weight. I have been taking cytogainer, but im starting to lose all my abs from this. I was wondering if any other low fat protein can still add weight if i just took more servings per day in order to up my protein. The cytogainer is doing its job of adding allot of weight, but it isn't the leanest weight gainer. i cant blame everything on the cytogainer, because im not really eating low fat either or running, in order to up my weight.

You're probably getting fatter because you're getting too many cals.

    .

what are you looking for... a low FAT protein?

A lowering your fat calories in proportion to an increase in protein calories isn't going to make you suddenly see your abs not disappear anymore

not only do you have to take in more calories, you have to use those extra calories to lift heavy ass weights.

well yeah i have been getting stronger and getting bigger, alot of lean muscle. But i noticed that my abs were getting thicker in that area, due to the gainer 3 times a day. I guess i cant have the best of both worlds and get bigger while staying very lean, that is what im looking for. Maybe i should focus on getting the weight first, and then cutting a little to lean out?

I thought that protein makes u bigger, so if i switched to a low fat high protein shake 3 times a day instead of cytogainer, i would get bigger, but without the fat.

Count the cals you have taken in in the last couple of days, just for fun. Just a guesstimate with the gainer intake should give you an idea...

You can't gain muscle at the rate that you can gain fat.

So naturally as you gain weight (esp. on a 5k calorie diet) you will pretty much always gain fat with that muscle.
