I accidentally cut my hand today right on the big main pad about an inch below my middle index finger where I do most of the pulling or whatever from when i'm lifting weights. The cut is this big thin slit right on my skin and when I tried to lift with it I could literally feel my skin being pulled apart making the wound larger. What would you guys recommend I do? I can't just give up lifting for a week until it heals, I especially can't take a week off from doing pullups. Would a pair of gloves help me out and allow me to lift without pain or further damaging the cut? Any other ideas?
