I want to send an SNMP trap from Nagios to IBM Director. I have been trying to use net-snmp and I can send a trap but I can't find anything to make sense of the trap I send. Is there some generic MIB that has an OID for Description, hostname, etc...that I can compile in Director and then have nagios call a script and send the info to Director? Maybe there is another eaier way to do it? :hsugh:

Although I don't have any solution for your problem. I feel your pain. I had to create my own and customized MIB's for BMC Patrol/PEM for a bunch of my SAN appliances and STK libraries years ago. I think this was the most annoying and worst task ever. I hated that shit.

    I feel your pain.
