I've been running 5.00 M33-6 for quite some time now. However, the new naruto PSP fighter requires 5.50 Gen-D.

I remember when I upgraded to 5.00 M33 I was told to avoid the Gen stuff int he large PSP thread.

    Is it better now?
Will it still allowe me to play all my iso/cso files?
Will it still allow me to run homebrew ie. Emulators?
Will it still allow me to run psx games?

I've been on 5.50 GEN-B2 since it came out. Absolutely no problems with it and runs just like the M33 firmware. Been able to play all iso/cso files without so much as a hiccup. As far as emulators go, i've only tested snes and gba. Both ran flawlessly. No problems with psx games as well. I've tested FFVII, VIII, IX, Einhander, Suikoden I & II, Lunar games and about a handful of others. The games all ran perfectly as long as I was using the suggested popsloader. Been meaning to upgrade to GEN-D but honestly I can't really see it having any problems.

Only thing I'm concerned with is losing the media streaming functionality :sad2:

I've been running on Gen-D for quite some time and it is not biggie. Depends on what you want to do.

If you want to upgrade cfw, first upgrade to Gen-B, then Gen-D
