I put some money down on a gun to be picked up at the end of this week.

I realized that i just moved a month ago and my address on my DL is no longer current.

Can i supplement this with other forms of identifications?

(checks, utility bills, lease, passport, insurance card) that shows me residing at my new address?

getting a new card in my state requires me to wait til they send me a new card while i use a temporary card (which is printed on paper) so i don't think that works.

BTW the new gun is a Kimber Gold Match II with CT laser grips

well... i have the address thats on all my stuff(car reg, DL, credit cards, etc) and then i have the actual address i live at... i would NEVER put it on a gun application, for any reason. main one being i dont have a paper trail to the address, which i love.

just bought a gun the other day, and they didn't call in the address per se, but it's on the form. My drivers license didn't match my current address, so I just provided a recent power bill with address on it, and that was ok to them

Call or go online to your states DMV. You can change it there and they should mail you a sticker to put on your license.

I forgot to change the address on my CHL and DL few moves ago, so they didn't match the address I accidentally wrote on the paperwork. Apparently that's not a mistake you can just rip up and start over:rofl:
I ended up getting a better price on a better O/U a few weeks later, so it worked out well.

The address on my DL not being current has never been an issue for me.

It's only an issue if it doesn't match the addressyou write on the paperwork. At least in my experience.

i had to have an actual license with my correct address on it when i bought my glock in 2005. i could prove my new address with all kinds of bills but it didnt matter, the people that the background check was called into wouldnt accept it.
