This film seems to be all over the speculation charts for various Occars and it didn't have a thread in here so I figured I'd start one. It's still a ways off, but I'm really excited for it at this point.

David Fincher directing Brad Pitt again after Se7en bodes really well for any movie and IMO makes it an instant classic.

Looking forward to this one. Se7en wasn't the only other time Fincher and Pitt teamed up. Tyler Durden says, "Use soap!"

Yes it is, he ages backwards and fosters a love over the course of the movie. Looks awesome and it's a really awesome premise for a movie I think. Plus with Fincher helming, it's going to be done to perfection.

I just saw it. I liked it. It was definitely depressing, but the computer graphics were amazing. Great story.

    it was ok.

for a 3 hr movie it did keep you going always wanting to see what would happen. it just missed the wow factor to me.

i was expecting this movie to be epic like forrest gump but it is not.

not a bad movie but nothing more then an ok movie to me.

just finished watching the leaked version.... such a great movie

i love how it's told through his journal that he kept and all of the life experiences were written very well

definitely was iffy when i first heard the premise of the movie, but after seeing it i don't know how it wouldn't win a handful of awards

did the clock have any signifigance? and I didn't like how they never got into what actually caused it.

    it's interwoven with Pitt's character.

Didn't care for it, myself. 16 year old daughter liked it. Should have been much shorter.
    Spoiler?...

However, when they cut to him on the sailboat I lost my breath. Pitt had been so old for so long in this movie that to see him all of a sudden in his prime was very beautiful, and Pitt - to me - is just ok.

This was really good. I kept comparing it to Forrest Gump the whole time though, which kind of took away my ability to enjoy it fully :o

I liked the film a lot more than I thought I would. Very nice sense of history, some great characters, and while long, it kept my interest.

BTW, it will win the Oscar for makeup.

A friend told me that in script the story kept referring and going back to the clock a lot, but they didn't really carry it over on screen.
