Any fans of "Cube" out there? It's a sci-fi movie about a group of people trapped in this mysterious metal contraption laced with deadly traps. If you like sci-fi and suspense, you should check it out.

Cube 2:Hypercube was a letdown, but the prequel that came after that, "Cube Zero", is reccomended to fans of "Cube." There is some stiff acting and not so special makeup effects, but the story is good, especially the ending.

i saw cube a while ago on the sci-fi channel, but was never able to finish it. ever since, i've been meaning to rent it/buy it, but its not available anywhere near me. and my parents wont let me buy it online. but from what i saw, it was a pretty good film. it seemed like something from the new outer limits

It is supposedly a prison facility where experiments are done on the inmates that volunteer. But I think it is more along the lines of an alien or massive government conspiracy to get rid of objectors.

Yeah, the acting is wildly uneven, ranging from okay to terrible to so bad it's almost funny. But it is a good story. Cube has some good effects and suspense, and I think Cube Zero segues into Cube very nicely. Cube 2 is very weak.

Part of the appeal of the first movie is not really knowing what the cube really is. Since it could be any number of things, it almost becomes existential, which is great for low budget character driven stories.

Cube = awesome.....Cube 2:Hyper-Cube = POS. For such a good storyline in the first one, the second one had an inplausible plot and a total cop out ending....it sucked.

It has a great idea behind the story but the acting is terrible. It is the interaction between the types of people that is interesting. They have actually used Cube in sociology classses.
