Ctrl keys not working

    I when to swap between spaces by pressing control and an arrow key. and well it didn't work. so i tried to zoom in with ctrl and scroll wheel and nothing.

    anyone know how to fix this?

    i have unplugged and plugged back in to other USB ports and nothing.

    i believe you zoom with command, i know mine does unless i changed but i am 99% sure i didn't

    what ever my ctrl key still doesn't work.

    already did that and changed it to comand and it works fine. i have check it in other programs and it is not working in them either. the button is not working.



    I guess i just need to take the keyboard to the mac store and get them to look at it.

    If it doesn't work at all, then it probably is a hardware issue (did you spill a cocktail into your keyboard?) :)

    The only other thing I can think of is to check the System Preferences->Keyboard & Mouse -> Modifier Keys pane.

    edit:

    You might try to use the above panel to reassign the control key to a different key then see if it works then. That should prove whether or not it's a hardware problem with the key.

    I've had my Mac for nearly 6 months and still haven't set up spaces.

    I have no idea what the fuck it is and am too lazy to be bothered. :hs:

    Am I missing out on anything great?

    pretty much u can run 4 different screens and just flip through them

    Yea, i have a broken enter key and shift key on my MBP
    . Apple wants 600 bucks to replace it.

    apple care and/or warranty is the best.

    my keyboard baffled the genius bar guy so he gave me a new one.


    It was a swap for the same kind. :hs: so i still have the white and clear one.
