Alright, I have been playing with CSS off and on since I heard about it a year or so ago. I have been trying to get it to position form elements, sometimes with success, and others frustration. What seems to work in IE7 looks completly different in Mozilla, and different still in Opera, I dont mean subtle looks, but major positioning elements and it is driving me crazy.

    Here is an example: http://www.fastzone.com/v2/test2.php

How can I get it to look the same in both (centered)

Also, I would like to get forms to line up nicely such as:

My experience with CSS is that it's very consistent between browsers. I guess that's 'cause I don't test on IE (I don't do much web-work, just random, ambitious sorta stuff). I mean I can ALT+TAB between Opera, Firefox and Konqueror and it'll look very close to exactly the same all the time.

So, IE just might be your problem. There's plenty of pages about "IE hacks" on google: http://www.google.ie/search?q=IE+CS...org.mozilla:en-US:unofficial&client=firefox-a

If you can use IRC, the people in #web on Freenode can be helpful (at times, heh), and a lot of 'em will understand this sorta crap.

(I skip the anal part of web-development, i.e. IE)
