    Kind of a dumb question, but I figured it might be possible anyway. I was wondering if there's a way to add gif images to this style without using backgrounds? I'm using this as my date style and I wanted to add two gifs before and after the date. I don't suppose there's a way to incorporate that into the style?

    #text_body h3 {
    font-family:verdana, ariel;
    font-size: 11px;
    font-weight: strong;
    color: #FFFFFF;

    }

  2. why would you be trying to insert non-bg graphical elements as a "style?" trying to template the appearance of your dates? have you considered using an include file for all date references?

    maybe if you explained a little more completely what you're looking to do, there could be a solution ...

    it's just decoration for a paragraph heading. not necessarily just dates. I could do it using backgrounds I guess...I just wanted to see if there was a way I could do it so when I put the text in, it'd just put the gif's before and after the text rather than my having to go into photoshop to change it every time.
